A little walk-about today to shake off some of the jet lag and try to acquaint with the surrounding environs. Took a tour of the Port de Hal, which is the only remaining structure from the original city walls of Bruxelles. In the last 200 years, the structure has served as a granary, a Lutheran church and a prison. Now a museum worthy of the €4 student price of admission.
Good stuff Patrick, keep it coming. While we will not be going to the same places during out trip in July it will be a nice preview.
